TIM CURRY
Tim Curry plays the fantastic, Dr Frank`N`Furter.
In 1973 he was doing a musical play called Hair, and Richard O`Brien was also in the play and the two became close friends!
One day Richard approached Tim and told him he`d written a musical and thought he had the charisma and charm that was needed for Frank!
Tim of course accepted the role and the show opened at The Theater Upstairs later that year!
How Tim adapted the voice of Frank happened one day when he was travelling on a bus!
"And actually, Frank`N`Furter`s voice
came from a woman on the bus, saying
to the woman next to her, 'Do you have
a house in towwwn,or a house in the
couuntryyy.' Which she managed to get
several vowels out of. And then it started
to kind of fall into place."
The little show later became one of the biggest and most loved cult movie of all time, though when it opened back in 1975 it didn`t do very well atall!

LITTLE NELL.
Little Nell or Laura Campbell was Columbia for a while with Roxy then in the film!
She`s a fantastic Columbia! I feel though Columbia is very misunderstood! She falls in love with Frank then out of love and falls falls madly in love with Eddie!
Her most memorable and best loved quotes is when she she declared to Frank that she loved him:
"My God! I can`t stand anymore
of this! First you spurn me for
Eddie! Then you throw him off
like an old Over-coat for Rocky!
You chew people up and then you
spit them out again!
(Short pause)
I loved you! Do you hear me I loved
you and what did it get me?
Yeah I`ll tell you! A big nothing!
You`re like a sponge!You Take,take
take and drain others of their love
and emotion!
Yeah well I`ve had enough! You`ve got
to choose between me and Rocky!
So named cos of the Rocks in his
head!"

SUSAN SARANDON
Susan Sarandon was asked to be in the film and she accepted even though she later recalls always having a phobia of singing as she recons she`s not good enough but proved to be very mistaken as The Rocky Horror Picture Show proves!
Touch-a Touch-a Touch-a Touch me just goes to prove it!
Her transformation as a square from Denton turns from the mouse she was to maneater which is great to watch!
